Plan testing, compliance and import responsibility early
The final appliance, importer, local assembler and brand owner may carry different responsibilities. Product classification and applicable Indian requirements should be confirmed for the real shipment and finished product with qualified local advisers. SKD supply should not be treated as an automatic compliance shortcut.
